Senior Cost Controller - French Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cost Controller who is fluent in French and English to join our engineering team in Cairo. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust project controls systems to ensure effective cost management across major EPCM projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project controls procedures, standards and tools.
• Lead the rollout of the EcoSys cost control platform, including user training and ongoing support.
• Track, analyse and report project expenditures against budgets and forecasts, producing monthly cost reports, variance analyses and dashboards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of budgets, actual costs, forecasts, accruals and cash‑flow projections.
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads and procurement teams to update forecasts, evaluate change orders and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support contract management and invoicing by reviewing invoices, monitoring accruals and providing cost‑related insights.
• Participate in project meetings to deliver controls updates and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of cost‑control experience, preferably on large EPCM projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost allocation and financial risk management.
• Professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Flexibility to work across UK, Canada or USA time zones as required.
