Senior Estimation and Design Engineer Firefighting & Fire Alarm

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Estimation and Design Engineer specialized in firefighting and fire alarm systems. The role involves creating accurate designs and cost estimates while supporting the sales team and ensuring project delivery across multiple sites, including travel to Saudi Arabia when required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and cost estimates for firefighting and fire alarm projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for pumps, foam, pre‑action, and gas suppression systems.
• Utilize specialized software tools to optimise gas suppression and hydraulic designs.
• Attend client and consultant meetings to provide technical support.
• Conduct site visits to gather project requirements and resolve technical queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and project targets.
• Share technical knowledge to foster a productive team environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in design and estimation of firefighting and fire alarm systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia as project needs dictate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with software for gas suppression system design.
• Experience with hydraulic calculation software for pumps, foam, and pre‑action systems.
