Senior Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

The Senior Technical Office Engineer – Mechanical will be responsible for producing accurate shop and coordination drawings, supporting site engineers, and ensuring smooth technical communication across all disciplines during construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop, coordination and composite drawings from design documents, adhering to quality standards.
• Coordinate with other trades to resolve conflicts between engineering disciplines.
• Maintain the shop‑drawing log and submit drawings to consultants for approval.
• Generate and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) for any unclear or conflicting design issues.
• Review and approve sub‑contractor and outsourced shop drawings.
• Collaborate with the Surveying Engineer to provide land coordinates and site measurements.
• Assist in solving unexpected technical difficulties and report them to the Technical Office Manager.
• Produce as‑built drawings and compile material submittals for consultant approval.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical office or construction engineering.
• Strong command of English.
• Familiarity with HSE policies and risk assessment procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SAP.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite.
