Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality control activities for mechanical assembly and electromechanical testing across project sites, from the integrator’s yard to the customer’s final location in New Cairo, Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout project execution, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and audits of sites, materials, and workmanship, identifying deviations and non‑conformities.
• Develop and maintain project‑specific quality documentation, including checklists, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to drive process improvements and create corrective action plans.
• Track and resolve punch‑list items, ensuring timely completion aligned with schedules.
• Train project personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify adherence to quality requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Support supplier quality evaluation for project‑related materials and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of on‑site mechanical assembly and electromechanical testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies in a project execution context.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
• Basic knowledge of Primavera.
• Experience using Acrobat and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Outlook and testing devices.
