Senior Real Estate Manager

About the role

talabat is seeking a senior leader to own and accelerate its real‑estate expansion in Egypt. The role will drive end‑to‑end acquisition, lease management and facilities operations to double the store footprint by 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end real estate acquisition to double talabat’s Egypt store footprint by 2026, from site identification through lease execution and operational go‑live.
• Partner with commercial, operations and tMart teams to translate business requirements into a pipeline of viable locations.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate lease terms that meet financial and operational benchmarks.
• Own the internal approval workflow, coordinating procurement, finance, legal, projects and business teams to meet go‑live dates.
• Manage external coordination with landlords, regulatory bodies and municipal authorities.
• Maintain a live expansion pipeline tracker and report progress to senior leadership weekly.
• Oversee the existing lease portfolio, ensuring timely renewals, renegotiations, relocations or consolidations.
• Build relationships with major asset owners to secure prime locations and preferential terms.
• Create and maintain a centralised lease repository as the single source of truth for all lease documentation.
• Lead the facilities‑management team, ensuring hard and soft services, vendor governance, workplace security and project delivery meet the operating model.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all real‑estate and FM matters in Egypt, interfacing with country GM, finance, legal, procurement, operations, landlords and regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in real‑estate acquisition, lease negotiation and portfolio management, preferably in a fast‑growth, multi‑site environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and performance‑manage a facilities‑management team.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, with a focus on meeting timelines and financial targets.
