Senior Sustainability Consultant – Project Lead

About the role

As a Senior Sustainability Consultant you will own the delivery of sustainability certification and technical services across large‑scale projects in the GCC and beyond. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinate internal specialists, and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage certification processes such as LEED (v4.1/v5), WELL, Estidama, Fitwel and other regional frameworks.
• Develop credit strategies, scorecards and gap assessments, and prepare technical documentation and submissions.
• Act as Project Manager/Lead Consultant, overseeing timelines, deliverables and client communication.
• Coordinate with internal energy, carbon, micro‑climate and commissioning teams and external stakeholders.
• Review design and construction documents for sustainability compliance and support site inspections.
• Oversee energy modelling, water‑efficiency calculations, indoor environmental quality strategies and embodied carbon/LCA inputs.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and contribute to internal process improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of experience in sustainability consulting, preferably on UAE/KSA/GCC projects.
• Proven track record delivering LEED, WELL or Estidama certifications.
• Strong project management and client‑facing skills.
