Site Construction Civil Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Site Construction Civil Lead to oversee the structural integrity and execution of projects at our Sokhna plant in Egypt. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will guide the team from design through construction and post‑completion phases, ensuring safety, compliance and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health & safety legislation and promote safe working practices on site.
• Review and validate structural designs from consultants for feasibility, safety and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors to implement approved structural plans, monitoring accuracy and compliance.
• Assess load‑bearing and stability throughout project phases and recommend reinforcement strategies.
• Act as liaison between project team, consultants and construction companies to resolve technical issues.
• Supervise foundation works, structural modifications, demolition and reconstruction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality‑assurance checks to ensure adherence to designs and standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in large‑scale construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural codes, regulations and best practices.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
