Tax Section Head

About the role

EVA Pharma is seeking an experienced Tax Section Head to lead its Tax Department. The role involves overseeing all tax functions, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and optimizing tax strategies to support the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the tax team to achieve high performance.
• Prepare and submit all tax returns on time, complying with local regulations.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that improve cash flow and tax position.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all tax matters.
• Collaborate with finance and legal departments on tax‑related aspects of projects and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional tax qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive tax accounting and management experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws, IFRS standards, and tax regulations.
• Proven experience managing tax teams and working with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software.
• Experience using ERP systems, specifically Oracle.
