Technical Office Manager – Architecture

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Office Manager – Architecture to lead our architectural technical office in Aswan. The role oversees design development, shop‑drawing review, material submittals and ensures compliance with project specifications, schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the architectural technical office team, reviewing and approving shop drawings, RFIs and design clarifications.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural and MEP disciplines, ensuring code and standard compliance.
• Support site teams with technical solutions, attend coordination meetings and manage drawing and material approvals.
• Track technical office progress against project schedules, prepare reports, identify risks and propose corrective actions.
• Mentor architects and engineers, allocate tasks, monitor performance and maintain effective communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in architectural technical office environments.
• Excellent command of English; membership in the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate preferred.
• Full‑time availability for site and office work in Aswan, with occasional travel between project locations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Primavera (preferred) and Egyptian as well as international codes and standards.
