Technical Support Engineer – Denim Manufacturing

About the role

Emessa Denim is seeking a dedicated technical team member to support the setup, operation, and maintenance of production and finishing equipment used in premium denim manufacturing. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Bani Suwayf, Egypt, and works closely with production, quality, and R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system‑related issues on denim manufacturing machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Document incidents, corrective actions, and technical findings clearly.
• Provide technical guidance and support to line operators.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives related to machinery, processes, and workflows.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to assess technical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and clear documentation.
• Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or textile engineering, or related technical field; vocational or technical certifications are a plus.
• Experience in apparel or denim manufacturing, textile machinery, or similar production environments.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, safety standards, and basic quality‑control principles.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bani Suwayf and manage priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
