Account Receivable Section Head

About the role

The Account Receivable Section Head will lead the AR function at our Cairo site, ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions, effective credit risk management, and optimal cash flow. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Sr. Manager, this role combines team leadership with strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Receivable team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring timely execution.
• Monitor distributors’ credit limits, manage credit risk, and enforce company credit policies.
• Review and validate monthly claims, rebates, and deductions against contracts.
• Oversee customer clearing activities in SAP, ensuring correct GL impact.
• Analyze aging reports and overdue balances, taking proactive collection actions.
• Prepare sales, collections, and receivables reports for management decision‑making.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing and coordinate with auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of AR and Credit Control experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent English communication.
