Accounts Receivable Claims Accountant

About the role

Alfa Laboratories is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Claims Accountant to join its Finance team in Mohandessin, Giza. The role focuses on managing AR claims, ensuring accurate billing, and resolving discrepancies with insurance providers and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and follow up on insurance and corporate claims.
• Reconcile AR claims accounts and resolve outstanding balances.
• Investigate and address claim rejections, denials, and short payments.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and third‑party payers to secure timely settlements.
• Maintain accurate records of claim status and related correspondence.
• Prepare periodic AR claims reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare billing regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in AR claims accounting, preferably within healthcare or diagnostics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
