AEM Technical Lead – 6 Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AEM Technical Lead to drive the delivery of enterprise‑scale digital platforms for a six‑month engagement. The role combines technical leadership, delivery governance, and stakeholder management to ensure high‑quality digital experiences across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage multidisciplinary teams of software engineers, QA specialists and CMS content authors.
• Define team structure, capacity planning and resourcing while fostering a culture of quality and continuous development.
• Own delivery governance including sprint planning, prioritisation, risk management and reporting.
• Oversee creation, update and maintenance of editorial, campaign and product pages across regional websites using AEM native tooling.
• Manage digital asset management (DAM) processes, ensuring assets are optimised, reusable and governed.
• Direct product information management (PIM) activities, coordinating model data updates and rollouts across markets.
• Maintain and enhance in‑showroom web applications, handling release management and version control.
• Ensure SEO implementation, performance, accessibility and quality standards through robust QA processes.
• Serve as senior technical point of contact for client and market stakeholders, driving training, adoption and feedback loops.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional software delivery teams.
• Strong background in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations at enterprise scale.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex content, asset and product data across multiple regions.
• Track record of delivering high‑quality digital experiences on time and within scope.
