Android Developer

About the role

Advansys is looking for an Android Developer in 6th of October City to design, develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin. You will work with UI/UX designers and backend developers to gather requirements and integrate smoothly, taking part in the whole app lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following mobile development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and responsiveness.
• Contribute to code reviews and give constructive feedback.
• Stay up to date with Android trends and implement new features and enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in an agile, team-oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, application architecture and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
• Familiarity with version control, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles; automated testing and debugging tools are a plus.
