Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Downtown Katameya is seeking a proactive Assistant Housekeeping Manager to ensure the mall’s public areas remain spotless and welcoming. You will lead both in‑house staff and external cleaning contractors, maintaining premium standards across a high‑traffic commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations for all common areas, restrooms, and corridors.
• Manage, train, and supervise internal housekeeping teams and external vendor crews.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs to audit cleanliness, identify improvements, and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals, machinery, and equipment to guarantee operational efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in housekeeping operations, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant‑manager capacity, preferably in a shopping mall, 5‑star hotel, or large commercial facility.
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and coordinate with external vendors.
• Exceptional attention to detail regarding cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Proactive, organized mindset with the capacity to handle emergencies in a fast‑paced setting.
