Assistant Manager Demand Planning

About the role

Talabat is looking for an Assistant Manager Demand Planning to lead the demand planning and replenishment function for Tmart stores and warehouses in Egypt. You will be responsible for managing stock, purchase orders and ensuring inventory availability aligns with the business plan.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the transition to 3PL, manage partner relations and implement Egypt best practices.
• Accountable for overall demand planning and replenishment of Tmart stores and warehouses.
• Manage stock valued at AED 20M and issue approximately 8,000 purchase orders weekly.
• Provide timely analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts.
• Develop and execute initiatives to optimise ageing stock and maintain supplier service levels.
• Guide store supervisors and admins to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to protect supply continuity.
• Lead a team of four demand planners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG demand planning and replenishment.
• Experience in warehouse management or 3PL partner relations.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset.
• Ability to interact with senior executives and manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Leadership experience with supervisory responsibilities.
