Assistant Manager, Medical Representative

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Medical Representative will ethically detail Nestlé Infant Nutrition products across the assigned Maadi territory, providing accurate information to medical and paramedical professionals. The role supports Nestlé’s commitment to promote breastfeeding as the optimal feeding choice for infants.

Key responsibilities

• Detail Nestlé Infant Nutrition products to medical/paramedical contacts, ensuring compliance with WHO International Code and Nestlé instructions.
• Promote breastfeeding and deliver reliable infant nutrition guidance to healthcare professionals.
• Organise and conduct product‑knowledge, nutrition, and scientific meetings, including sponsorships and guest lecturer invitations.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date master list of contacts, classify their interest, and complete regular call cards.
• Monitor competitor activities and report findings to the Medical Field Manager.
• Keep accurate records of all correspondence and daily actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to local and international marketing codes for breast‑milk substitutes.
• Guarantee that Nestlé marketing staff do not approach pregnant women or mothers regarding infant formula in a business capacity.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or 1–3 years of experience, preferably as a Medical Delegate in pediatrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Fluency in English (preferred).
• Ability to travel extensively within remote areas.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driving licence.
