Automotive Logistics Manager

About the role

The Automotive Logistics Manager will lead all logistics activities related to vehicle and parts movement, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery across the supply chain. This role is based on‑site in Giza and reports to senior operations leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations for automotive products.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply‑chain performance and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments to streamline processes.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage warehousing activities and ensure product availability.
• Analyse logistics data, produce reports, forecast demand and recommend improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the logistics team to meet departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and company policies.
• Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and evaluate their performance.
• Resolve shipment delays, damages or discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to guarantee seamless order fulfilment.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in automotive logistics or supply‑chain management.
• Proven track record of managing logistics operations within the automotive sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics management software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
