AV Presales Engineer – Technical Solutions

About the role

The AV Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to design and propose audio‑visual solutions that meet client specifications. This role involves technical analysis of projects, preparation of documentation, and coordination with suppliers to ensure feasible and optimal AV integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Study and analyse assigned projects or tenders to provide the best technical solution.
• Define project scope based on customer needs and prepare compliance sheets, single‑line diagrams, and other required documents.
• Assist the sales team in discussing technical issues with clients.
• Coordinate with international and local suppliers for technical advice and issue resolution.
• Search for new vendors or systems to achieve complete integration.
• Assess existing infrastructure to determine feasibility of proposed AV solutions.
• Review architectural, MEP, and IT drawings to design AV system layouts, cabling infrastructure, and equipment placement.
• Prepare and submit technical submittals, datasheets, and product compliance documents for client/consultant approval.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings, technical clarification meetings, and site visits with clients and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in AV integration or light‑current systems presales/technical design.
• Familiarity with AV systems, control systems, and design/drafting tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS‑D) are a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with sales, installation, and supplier teams.
