Azure Data Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Developer to join the BI Reporting team within Coca-Cola Hellenic Digital & Technology Platform Services. You will design, develop and maintain Azure‑based data solutions that enable enterprise and operational reporting, providing reliable insights for business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
• Implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems into Azure storage solutions.
• Work with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Hive and Databricks to store and manage large datasets (terabytes of data).
• Ensure data integrity, availability and optimal storage architecture.
• Integrate data from diverse sources, guaranteeing accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and support analytical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or related field, or equivalent 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to deliver proof‑of‑concept backend solutions.
• Leadership experience mentoring junior staff and proactive project management is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure SQL Database (T‑SQL).
• DAX, Power Query M.
• Programming languages: C#.NET, Python, Scala, Java.
• Big‑data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks, PySpark.
• Experience with large‑scale data architectures (partitioned tables, multi‑hundred‑GB files).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
