BIM Architecture Team Leader

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a BIM Architecture Team Leader in Cairo. The role manages and leads architectural BIM processes, creating high-quality, detailed and coordinated digital models that align architectural designs with structural and MEP elements. It also involves mentoring team members and keeping project delivery within defined timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural team in using BIM software, mainly Autodesk Revit, to build accurate, detailed and parametric digital models.
• Oversee simulation and visualization outputs, optimising design elements such as energy efficiency and material usage.
• Integrate architectural, structural and MEP designs into a single BIM model and manage clash detection and issue resolution.
• Develop, implement and monitor BIM standards, workflows and protocols.
• Oversee documentation generated from BIM models, including drawings, schedules and reports.
• Provide regular project progress updates and escalate technical issues to management when needed.
• Carry out quality checks on BIM models against project and organisational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
• At least 7 years of proven experience in BIM with a focus on architectural design and coordination.
• Demonstrated success leading BIM teams and delivering complex projects.
• Advanced training or certification in BIM technologies is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with tools such as Rhino, SketchUp and plugins like Dynamo.
• Ability to analyse building models for design optimisation and quality assurance.
• Strong communication, organisation and planning skills, including scheduling and resource allocation.
