Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer

About the role

Meinhardt is seeking a qualified Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to join its Cairo office. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the design, implementation, and ongoing management of BMS solutions that support efficient and sustainable facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure building management systems for new and existing projects.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot building services to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all systems comply with local building regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including facility management and engineering, to optimise system integration.
• Perform regular updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on BMS hardware and software.
• Support sustainable building initiatives by recommending energy‑efficient solutions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience with building management and BMS technologies.
• Strong understanding of facility management best practices and building services.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
