Buildings & Utilities Engineer Intern

About the role

This internship offers a motivated engineering student the chance to gain hands‑on experience in buildings and utilities management within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will support daily operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily management of buildings and utilities activities and operations.
• Follow up on daily checklists and monitor ongoing maintenance tasks.
• Identify gaps, technical issues, and operational risks, and assist in delivering timely solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth execution of maintenance and utilities work.
• Help maintain buildings in optimal condition according to company standards.
• Monitor maintenance contracts and follow up on contractor performance.
• Participate in buildings & utilities projects and assist with project coordination.
• Prepare reports, analytical data, and KPI tracking related to operations.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance plans for building and utility systems.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure continuous availability of required utilities.
• Contribute to EHS, energy, and quality management initiatives and support continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Engineering student or fresh graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Eagerness to learn and gain practical experience in buildings and utilities operations.
