Business Intelligence Analyst II

About the role

The Business Intelligence Analyst II will manage and optimise data systems using Microsoft SQL, Python and a range of BI tools. The role focuses on designing data models, maintaining reporting infrastructure and turning business needs into actionable insights. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes, stored procedures and database objects for reporting and analysis.
• Build scalable data solutions across multiple platforms while ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Gather business requirements and deliver BI solutions using SQL and Power BI.
• Monitor, optimise and automate data pipelines and reporting cycles.
• Maintain ticketing systems, resolve data‑related requests and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in database analysis, reporting and BI development, preferably in a call‑center or WFM environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Microsoft SQL Server (2016+), SQL Server Data Tools, SSMS, SSIS, SSAS.
• Power BI (including DAX) and Excel.
• Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Data modelling concepts (star/snowflake schema, OLAP).
• Cloud and big‑data tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Google BigQuery, AWS.
• PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, Visual Basic Macros, DevOps, RPA fundamentals.
