Butler Service Desk Agent

About the role

The Butler Service Desk Agent provides front‑line support to hotel guests, handling inquiries and requests through telephone, email, chat and mobile channels. This position ensures a seamless guest experience by promptly addressing needs and coordinating with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, record and process guest requests, questions and concerns via multiple communication channels.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake‑up calls and direct calls to appropriate extensions.
• Log all guest requests in the system, contact relevant departments (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping) and follow up to confirm resolution.
• Provide information on room features, hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Process room‑service orders, assist with menu selections and record transactions in the point‑of‑sale system.
• Help guests with internet access and in‑room entertainment systems.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
