Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

CANEX Aluminum is seeking a full‑time Buyer to join its procurement team in 6th of October City. The role focuses on sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to support the company’s aluminum manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source raw materials required for production.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Analyze procurement needs and maintain accurate purchase records.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of local sourcing and procurement processes.
• Ability to analyze quotations and make cost‑effective decisions.
• Residents of 6th of October or Giza only.
