Cashier – Treasury & Cash Management

About the role

Touch Media International is seeking an experienced Cashier to join its Finance team in Cairo. The role focuses on daily cash operations, treasury controls, employee advances, and cash collections, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash receipts, disbursements, and petty‑cash across departments, preparing movement reports and reconciling physical cash with book balances.
• Disburse and monitor cash advances for field teams, reviewing supporting documents and ensuring timely settlement.
• Receive customer cash and checks, issue receipts, and promptly deposit funds while coordinating with Accounts Receivable.
• Process cash payments to freelancers and small suppliers, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
• Maintain cash limits, sequential voucher numbering, and adherence to the company’s approval matrix.
• Monitor bank deposits, reconcile with cash books, and resolve currency differences for international campaigns.
• Support periodic and surprise cash counts and prepare monthly treasury reports for finance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in treasury, cash management or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Very good to excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and ability to maintain confidentiality under pressure.
• Experience in media, advertising, production or project‑based environments is a plus.
