About the role

The Chief Accountant will ensure that the company's books are complete, accurate, and supported by a reliable monthly close and reconciliation routine. This role is critical for maintaining audit‑ready accounting records and well‑organized tax documentation within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) and food & beverage sector.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and clean books with a dependable monthly close and reconciliation process.
• Prepare local accounting records that are audit‑ready and keep tax‑supporting documentation well organized.
• Oversee AP, AR, bank, fixed asset, and inventory accounting processes with clear ownership and control.
• Provide timely and reliable accounting data to the Finance Manager and Poland headquarters for reporting and decision‑making.
