Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

The company is seeking a strategic COO to partner with the leadership team, drive performance across multiple functions, and support rapid growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team, ensuring performance expectations are met.
• Coach and develop teams to deliver against key business metrics.
• Identify and implement methods to improve quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
• Collaborate on developing and improving systems, processes, controls, and procedures for overall firm efficiency and client service.
• Provide timely, accurate reports on the operating condition of the company.
• Manage the entire Human Resources function, including benefits, payroll, learning & development, culture, performance management, and succession planning.
• Lead and develop multi‑location, multi‑function teams, fostering a high‑performance environment.
• Attract, recruit, and retain executive team members and provide mentorship for management career development.
• Work autonomously while exceeding CEO expectations and representing the firm with clients, investors, and partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• In‑depth knowledge of business functions such as HR, finance, and marketing.
• Hands‑on experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and business development.
• Strong data‑analysis knowledge and familiarity with KPIs.
• Outstanding organizational, time‑management, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem‑solving, and creative thinking abilities.
