Civil Site Engineer – Construction Project Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Site Engineer to join our construction team in Cairo. You will be responsible for overseeing daily on‑site activities, ensuring that work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction activities on site.
• Inspect and receive work packages from subcontractors, confirming compliance with quality standards and engineering codes.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, review executed quantities, and prepare periodic payment certificates.
• Perform detailed quantity surveying and measurement of concrete, masonry, finishes, and other works.
• Prepare, review, and compile client invoices and follow up for approvals to maintain cash flow.
• Coordinate between senior management, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 1–3 years of proven site‑engineer experience in construction projects; repair‑project experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail in quantity surveying and financial calculations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
