Commercial Funding Specialist - Associate

About the role

PwC's ETIC team in Cairo is looking for an Associate-level Commercial Funding Specialist within its EAIC line of service. As the point of contact on Alliance partner funding programs across EMEA, you will work with Alliance Drivers, Marketers and account teams so that funding opportunities from partners such as Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and AWS are fully understood and used. The role combines deep funding-program knowledge with hands-on operational support, complementing the Funding Platform and AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed knowledge of Alliance partner funding programs, including eligibility, processes, deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Act as the go-to funding expert for drivers, marketers and account teams across EMEA.
• Help teams prepare data and documentation needed to submit and manage funding requests.
• Handle ad-hoc funding requests and edge cases outside standard templates and automated workflows.
• Draft, review and refine Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting documents that cannot be generated by AI agents.
• Follow up on funding opportunities, approvals, claims and outstanding items requiring manual intervention or partner engagement.
• Partner with the Funding Platform Admin and AI & Automation Developers to share process insights and improvement ideas.
• Support monthly funding tracking and review, and contribute to consolidated reporting for leadership.
• Maintain documentation, playbooks and FAQs on Alliance funding programs.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in alliance partner funding, channel/partner operations, vendor co-investment programs or a closely related area.
• Solid understanding of partner funding mechanisms such as co-marketing funds, MDF, migration/POC funding and GTM investments.
• Experience preparing or reviewing SOWs, funding proposals, claims and supporting documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to engage senior Alliance leaders and partner contacts.
• Consulting, alliance management or corporate finance background is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365; Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) and Salesforce as a user.
• Comfortable working alongside AI agents and automation, and giving structured feedback to platform and developer teams.
