Commercial Operations Specialist

About the role

The Commercial Operations Specialist ensures that client documentation and Know Your Customer (KYC) information are accurate, complete, and compliant before they are submitted to the Risk Department. This quality‑control function supports efficient risk assessments, reduces processing delays, and contributes to informed decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify client documentation such as bank statements, Memorandum of Association, trade licenses and other financial or legal documents.
• Perform thorough KYC checks in line with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain and update client records using CRM systems and internal operational tools.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, Credit, Risk and Finance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify missing, incomplete or inconsistent information and follow up promptly with relevant parties.
• Support client onboarding and funding processes by ensuring documentation meets required standards.
• Hand over validated documentation to the Finance Operations (FinOps) team for final processing.
• Prepare and generate client contracts after credit approval and initiate the e‑signature process via DocuSign.
• Verify client‑provided checks for correctness and alignment with approved terms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation review and verification processes.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of client files.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Effective communication and coordination with internal commercial and risk stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with DocuSign e‑signature platform.
