Concierge Agent

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Concierge Agent. The role responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing guest needs and adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with Four Seasons' policies. The hotel opened in June 2007, has 154 rooms including 31 suites, 30 beach suites and 6 villas with private pools, and is connected to a shopping mall.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests where possible, resolve complaints and assist with inquiries about hotel services, hours, staff, events and directions.
• Respond to guest requests accurately and on time, using local knowledge and hotel practices to make recommendations.
• Process packages, faxes, messages and mail, outgoing or incoming, accurately and on time.
• Keep desk collateral and information on restaurants, museums, attractions, maps and other local sites up to date, and build close contacts with vendors to provide information, tickets and reservations.
• Store and retrieve guest luggage and packages.
• Use software programs to enter special guest arrangements and ensure proper billing.
• Assist with bell stand, business center and lobby coverage during absences or high volume.
• Provide basic troubleshooting support for in-room services such as internet, TV movies, games and web service.

Required profile

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Fluency in another language is strongly preferred.
• Ability to comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
