Construction Team Leader

About the role

The Construction Team Leader is the first line of leadership on a construction site, responsible for guiding a crew of skilled and unskilled workers to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality standards. This role bridges the gap between on‑site personnel and senior management, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution of the construction plan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and allocate tasks to a team of construction workers.
• Monitor daily and weekly progress against targets and report to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure all work follows technical drawings, specifications and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment and material usage efficiently.
• Assist in problem‑solving, adjust work plans as needed, and coordinate between trades (civil, MEP, etc.).
• Uphold discipline, productivity and quality standards on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Familiarity with local safety standards and regulations.
