Content & Social Media Lead

About the role

Dot IT, a growing digital marketing agency serving international clients, is expanding its Social Media department and is looking for a Content & Social Media Lead. This is a strategic leadership role, not a posting or scheduling role, responsible for the strategic direction of social accounts, guiding the execution team and ensuring content aligns with business goals and KPIs. It involves managing multiple client accounts and working closely with Performance, Design and Account Management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Social media strategy and planning: develop strategies, content pillars and monthly frameworks, identify campaign opportunities and ensure platform-specific alignment.
• Creative direction: lead ideation, campaign concepts and storytelling, and guide the design team while keeping a consistent brand voice.
• Team leadership: supervise and mentor Social Media and Content Executives, review content calendars and enforce quality standards.
• Performance collaboration: align strategy with KPIs, review reports and adjust based on insights.
• Client interaction: present strategies to clients and handle high-level feedback.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in social media management, preferably in an agency.
• Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and presenting strategies.
• Strong background in content strategy and campaign ideation; experience with international/GCC clients preferred.
• Familiarity with paid social campaigns is a plus.
• Strategic thinker who can turn business goals into content direction, with strong leadership, mentoring and project management skills.
• Clear English communication, organized and deadline-oriented, able to guide creative direction without micromanaging.
• Comfortable presenting ideas to clients and working remotely.
