Cook – Full-time position in Cairo

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team in Cairo. The role involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Test and monitor food for proper cooking, temperature, and quality.
• Prepare cold foods and assemble dishes for service.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, tools, knives, and kitchen area.
• Set up and break down work stations and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies, reporting any issues to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant food‑service or culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work full‑time in an onsite kitchen environment.
