Cost Control Team Leader – Ras El Hekma

About the role

The Cost Control Team Leader will oversee and coordinate cost control activities across assigned construction projects, ensuring accurate monitoring, reporting, and forecasting of project costs in line with Innovo Build Egypt’s financial and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
• Review and verify project cost reports, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with project management, planning, and procurement teams to validate cost data and align with project progress.
• Analyze cost variances and provide recommendations to maintain cost efficiency.
• Consolidate monthly cost control reports, cash flow statements, and cost performance indicators.
• Support development and maintenance of cost breakdown structures, coding systems, and cost databases.
• Participate in project reviews and provide input on financial performance and cost trends.
• Ensure accurate recording of actual costs, commitments, and accruals according to company policies.
• Assist in preparing cost‑to‑complete forecasts and validating quantities and productivity reports from site.
• Train and support junior cost control engineers to ensure data accuracy and procedural compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related non‑MEP engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cost control within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of project cost control principles, budgeting, and forecasting methods.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in English.
