Culture-Communication and Coordination Expert

About the role

The European Union Communication and Visibility in Egypt project seeks a senior expert to lead the coordination, communication and visibility of cultural diplomacy activities. Working under the Team Leader, you will ensure that cultural events, festivals and collaborations are effectively promoted and documented across EU Member State initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Map and monitor cultural activities organized by EU Member States, embassies and cultural institutes in Egypt on a monthly basis.
• Compile, verify and organise event information, visuals and communication assets for the EUMS Monthly Cultural Calendar.
• Coordinate with cultural focal points, graphic designers and project managers to publish the calendar at least 10 days before month‑end.
• Lead the planning and follow‑up of the European Day of Languages (September 2026) and other high‑visibility cultural events.
• Support stakeholder outreach, invitation management, logistics and media documentation for all cultural initiatives.
• Ensure proper archiving of outputs and maintain regular communication with EU project leadership.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in cultural diplomacy, public engagement or international cultural projects.
• Strong knowledge of the cultural landscape in Egypt and familiarity with EU cultural institutions.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, able to work under supervision and meet tight deadlines.
