Customs Clearance Operations Specialist

About the role

The SF Customs Brokerage Operator ensures that customs declarations for inbound and outbound shipments are submitted accurately and in line with customs regulations. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee timely clearance of goods while staying current with evolving customs laws and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with logistics, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely customs clearance.
• Monitor and interpret changes in customs regulations to maintain compliance.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Identify and resolve any issues that may delay customs processing.

• Strong understanding of customs clearance processes.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in using NAFEZA and other customs‑related systems.
