Cyber Security Presales Engineer (Cairo)

About the role

Golden Technology is seeking a full‑time Cyber Security Presales Engineer to join its Cairo office. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to design, position, and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions that meet enterprise client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer environments and conduct technical assessments.
• Design and present comprehensive cybersecurity architectures and solution proposals.
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and create detailed technical documentation.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and stay updated on emerging threats and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of competitive presales strategies.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in presales, solutions consulting, or a technical customer‑facing role within IT or security.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and information‑security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience with network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and secure network design.
• Understanding of application security concepts such as secure coding, vulnerability assessment, and hardening.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value‑focused messages for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are a plus.
