Data Scientist – 2 Years Experience

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist with around two years of professional experience to join our analytics team in Egypt. You will turn raw data into actionable insights, build predictive models and support data‑driven decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
• Develop, validate, and deploy machine‑learning and predictive models.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and automation workflows.
• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and communicate findings through reports, dashboards and visualisations.
• Monitor model performance, ensure data integrity and comply with governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, machine learning or a similar role.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python or R programming.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning frameworks such as Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau or Matplotlib.
• Knowledge of big‑data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of MLOps concepts and model deployment processes.
