Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

Excis is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands‑on technical assistance across multiple locations in Egypt. You will work directly with end users, ensuring smooth operation of Windows environments, mobile devices, and conference room technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside and onsite support for Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office, desktops, notebooks, printers and handheld devices.
• Deliver hands‑and‑feet support for network and data‑center equipment.
• Troubleshoot mobile device setup, activation and performance issues on iOS, Android and BlackBerry platforms.
• Support conference‑room A/V equipment and manage Windows image build processes.
• Execute SCCM deployments and use remote connectivity tools such as SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting and native Windows tools.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of deskside/onsite support experience with strong troubleshooting of Windows OS, Microsoft Office and desktop hardware/software.
• Experience with network and data‑center equipment, Active Directory (user accounts, Exchange mailboxes, distribution lists).
• Good knowledge of iOS/Android device support, Windows image building and SCCM deployments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Basic understanding of audio/video equipment and conference‑room setup; remote desktop tool experience required.
