Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite IT Support

About the role

Excis Compliance is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to deliver onsite IT assistance across multiple locations in Egypt. You will be responsible for installing operating systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of user environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside and onsite support for Windows 7/10 installations and MS Office troubleshooting.
• Resolve network, hardware, and software incidents promptly.
• Perform smart‑hands support for datacenter equipment and conference‑room AV setups.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Exchange.
• Deploy software and updates via SCCM and maintain remote connectivity using Bomgar, Webex and native Windows tools.
• Support mobile devices (iOS, Android, BlackBerry) and ensure peripheral equipment availability.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in desktop support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Access to administrative tools and a clear escalation process.
