DevOps Engineer (2-4 years experience)

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain sophisticated software solutions that align with customers' business goals. You will work closely with product owners, developers and key executives to deliver reliable, scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop functionalities from requirement analysis through design, testing, integration and documentation.
• Maintain architectural and design standards, ensuring high‑quality deliverables on schedule.
• Manage infrastructure services such as Kubernetes clusters, databases and analytics platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and restore services within SLA.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the software development team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in software development and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work across multiple cultures and collaborate with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java (or another OOP language), JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Scripting with Bash and YAML.
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL relational databases.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, micro‑services architecture and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
