Director of Human Resources

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function for a multinational manufacturing organization in Egypt. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape people strategy, ensure compliance, and drive workforce effectiveness across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall HR agenda and align it with business strategy.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational design.
• Oversee HR operations, policies, governance, and compliance with local labor law.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and complex HR cases.
• Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Lead succession planning, leadership development, and change‑management projects.
• Supervise compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness.
• Develop HR reporting, analytics, and technology solutions.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing HR team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related field (required).
• Master’s degree/MBA or professional HR certification (SHRM, CIPD) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles in multinational manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a complex, matrixed environment with MENA regional exposure.
