Director of Loss Prevention

About the role

The Director of Loss Prevention leads daily security and loss‑prevention operations at the Sheraton Montazah Hotel. You will protect property assets, guests, and employees while ensuring a safe environment and supporting the hotel's financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor emergency and loss‑prevention procedures.
• Investigate property losses and coordinate disposition with management.
• Deploy and supervise security staff to monitor and protect assets across the property and parking areas.
• Conduct regular patrols, maintain required logs, certifications and legal documentation.
• Handle complaints, resolve disputes and address grievances.
• Identify hazards, recommend safety improvements and implement risk‑control action plans.
• Attend pre‑ and post‑event meetings, communicate safety protocols and recognize team achievements.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate security personnel, setting performance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of security/loss‑prevention experience, OR
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice (or related field) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
