About the role
The Director of Loss Prevention leads daily security and loss‑prevention operations at the Sheraton Montazah Hotel. You will protect property assets, guests, and employees while ensuring a safe environment and supporting the hotel's financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor emergency and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Investigate property losses and coordinate disposition with management.
- Deploy and supervise security staff to monitor and protect assets across the property and parking areas.
- Conduct regular patrols, maintain required logs, certifications and legal documentation.
- Handle complaints, resolve disputes and address grievances.
- Identify hazards, recommend safety improvements and implement risk‑control action plans.
- Attend pre‑ and post‑event meetings, communicate safety protocols and recognize team achievements.
- Coach, mentor and evaluate security personnel, setting performance standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of security/loss‑prevention experience, OR
- Associate degree in Criminal Justice (or related field) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
