Eco-Landscaping & External Hygiene Optimization Lead

About the role

The Eco-Landscaping & External Hygiene Optimization Lead will drive excellence in external environmental management for our Suez facility. You will ensure high standards of landscaping, irrigation, hygiene, waste handling, and pest control while guaranteeing contractor compliance with HSE, environmental, and operational service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and company policies.
• Provide monthly safety performance reports and lead investigations of major incidents.
• Develop and implement H&S improvement plans and monitor progress.
• Manage and audit sustainable landscaping projects, maintaining aesthetic upkeep of green areas and facility perimeters.
• Design and optimise water‑efficient irrigation networks for dry environments.
• Oversee deep cleaning, pressure washing and sanitation of outdoor common areas, factory yards and internal roadways.
• Implement strict waste segregation at source (organic, plastic, paper) across all external zones.
• Coordinate pest‑control activities and ensure contractor compliance with safety and service standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in health, safety and environmental (HSE) management within an industrial or construction setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead safety investigations and develop corrective action plans.
• Strong background in sustainable landscaping, irrigation system design and waste segregation.
• Capability to audit contractor performance and enforce compliance with company standards.
