Electrical Construction Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer to join a leading electro‑mechanical construction firm on a large transportation project in Cairo, Egypt. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on power generation, distribution and cable‑tray installations for monorail, metro and train systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all electrical site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate cable laying works and installation of electrical equipment, including signaling and power systems.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and regulatory safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to guarantee smooth execution.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in power systems, power generation and large‑scale electrical construction projects.
• Proven experience in cable laying, equipment installation and site supervision.
• Strong communication, coordination and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced project environment.
