About the role
The company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and estimate fire alarm and detection systems. You will work on both conventional and addressable fire alarm solutions, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72 and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare fire alarm system layouts, single‑line diagrams, device placements and cable routing.
- Review project drawings, BOQs and specifications to produce accurate material take‑offs and cost estimates.
- Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals for client submission.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and architectural teams to integrate fire alarm systems.
- Optimize designs for reliability, cost‑effectiveness and code compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire alarm system design and estimation.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes and authority requirements.
